On May 30, Bishop Athanasius visited the Blessed Vasyl shrine with Alex Begin, Rev. Canon Adrian Sequeira and Dr. Peter Kwasniewski.
His excellency spent a considerable amount of time in the museum and the shrine. He was most appreciative of the artifacts, especially those of the underground church.
In the shrine, the bishop prayed parts of the Moleben service and prayed privately before the holy relics of Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky.
