Close to 5.000 faithful joined the Way of the Cross in Novoyavorivsk. People prayed and learned about the life of Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky through the examples and stories of his life that were depicted in each station.
Through the streets of Lviv close to 60,000 people participated in The Way of the Cross, in which during each Station examples and meditations from Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky’s life journey were depicted.
Metropolitan Lawrence Huculak, Archbishop of Winnipeg designated Bishop Velychkovsky Martyr Shrine/St Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church to have a Holy Door for the Jubilee Year of Mercy.
